Wings of Life
Life has a fleeting nature almost unnoticeable on a day-to-day basis but her flapping wings can be heard only when she goes away!

Life is a bird,
Her flapping Wings can be heard.
When there is birth
She comes to sit on a tree on Earth.
Though she has a nest on the tree,
When time comes she flies away: she is free.
Leaving the humans whinning under their teeth,
As they embrace the tree with a wreath.
Such is the fleeting nature of life,
But people waste it in strife.
Some say it comes only once,
So let us beckon it with song and dance.
Others believe it's fragile wings are sturdy,
They don't bother time and turn out foolhardy.
When life resides in her nest,
She does her work the best.
Without any self interest,
But others come to see only when she is put to rest.
Such is the irony of life,
More paradoxical than the relation of husband and wife!
